Red Bellied Woodpecker

There are a lot of these around but they are kind of shy. I looked up some information about them and found out the oldest known red bellied was over 12 years old. I had no idea birds lived that long.

This downy woodpecker kept watching me as it hid behind the bird feeder post. The downy’s have been very active lately. They were even feeding at the finch feeder today.
