The goldfinches are back to their winter colors. I see a bright one every once in a while but mostly just these. They still brighten the day.

This is the first Monarch I’ve had a chance to photograph this summer. It was moving from blossom to blossom and not giving me much chance but I finally managed this shot. Monarch on Fine Art America
The hummingbirds have been crazy active this week. Three or four at a time dancing around and taking turns at the feeder. One even came up to get a closer look at me with the camera.

I love watching dragonflies dart around. I’ve had lots of green ones like this around this year. Hopefully I can get a shot of a blue one soon. My wife likes them better.
