This is the moon from last night. It’s the first quarter and will be full on the 20th. It will also be the spring equinox. That means warm weather is coming!
The full moon this month will be the final super moon of 2019. This means it may appear closer and brighter than usual.
In this photo the Sea of Serenity and the Sea of Tranquility are fully visible. The Sea of Showers is partially showing on the left side with the Sea of Crisis and Sea of Nectar rounding out the right side.
